Major Contract from General Motors

MAGNA Drivetrain announces one of the biggest orders ever awarded in it's 4x4-systems business.

The contract is for the development and production of transfer cases for General Motors next generation of full-size pick-up trucks and sport utility vehicles.

MAGNA Drivetrain recently began development activities of the new transfer case in its Lannach, Austria facility.

New Delivery Order for Volkswagen All-Wheel Drive Systems

MAGNA Drivetrain was recently awarded a new contract by Volkswagen AG. The contract includes development and production of a new all-wheel drive system for future Volkswagen models.

This award continues the very successful long-term partnership between Volkswagen AG and Magna in respect of all-wheel drive systems. MAGNA Drivetrain currently supplies all-wheel drive components for several Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda vehicles.

The new Volkswagen order confirms MAGNA Drivetrain's strong position in the development and manufacturing of all-wheel drive systems, components and modules for passenger cars, light trucks and off-road vehicles.
