Engineering Center Steyr has gained years of experience in drivetrain engineering for all kinds of vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy trucks, from 4x2 up to 8x8 configurations. Complete developments as well as any part out of it are offered as engineering service to our customers: - Concept studies - Design - Simulation - NVH - Prototyping - Testing Using "latest state-of-the-art" test benches, all powertrain configurations can be tested in terms of function & endurance. The scope of work covers the conception of tests, the generation of testing programs, the assembly and preparation of prototypes, the complete measurement equipment, audits, inspections and documentation. - Complete 4WD powertrains with 5 machines acting simultaneously - Aggregates like gearboxes, transfer cases and axles - Controlled systems via CAN bus - Electric motor or combustion engine as drive - Up to 10,000 rpm, 8,200 Nm, 580 kW  |
